Design Partner Program

Browser-native early access for hardware teams.

solidSF is opening a design partner program for startups, shops, labs, and hardware teams that want browser-native design, manufacturing, and simulation workflows. Sign an LOI, get foundation pricing, and shape the beta program with direct support from our team.

Frequently asked questions

Common questions about the solidSF design partner program, LOIs, NDA, and qualification.

What does a design partner commit to?

Design partners commit to actively using solidSF on real hardware projects, giving the team direct, candid feedback on the beta program, and joining a short scoping call so we can pre-configure your seats. There is no minimum spend during the partner term.

What do design partners get in return?

Early access, foundation pricing (the first 500 partner companies receive 34% off service, setup, and implementation fees for the first 6 months), direct support from the founding team, and a written voice in the roadmap for design, CAM, and CAE modules.

Is there an NDA?

Yes. We will sign a mutual NDA before any production geometry, drawings, or proprietary process detail is shared. The default partner LOI does not require an NDA on its own; the NDA is signed once the technical scoping session begins.

Can my company sign an LOI?

Yes. The partner intake form on this page generates a solidSF-signed PDF LOI on submission. The LOI records selected scope and modeled pricing, but does not lock seats, package, or procurement; everything can be finalized later.

What is the timeline?

Most design partners go from LOI to first hands-on workspace within two weeks. Migration scoping (SolidWorks feature-tree, Onshape) and CAM/CAE module onboarding usually run on a four- to eight-week timeline after that, depending on feature scope.

How do I qualify?

We are looking for hardware teams shipping real products: startups, machine shops, robotics labs, aerospace and energy teams. You should have an active design workflow today (SolidWorks, Onshape, Fusion 360, NX, Inventor, or similar) and an engineer who can spend a few hours per week with us.
